In collaboration with our good friends at Small99, we are delighted to announce the launch of the Sustainability Events Calendar.
Looking for good sustainability-related events can be a bit of a needle/haystack scenario. Either there are just too many events to look through, or you find out about one too late and end up missing out.
We wanted to present a solution to this common frustration, so we came up with The Sustainability Events Calendar — an online directory of the best sustainability events in and around the UK (for now!).
Working in collaboration with Adam Bastock from Small99, we started building the new website for the benefit of our ever-growing community of sustainability professionals and beyond.
*We thought this was more appropriate than the traditional 'killing two birds with one stone'.
Sustainability Events Calendar has been live for two weeks and is already proving to be useful in two key areas:
Here's what Adam has to say:
"I know first-hand the frustration of searching for good sustainability events and finding out about them too late. We set up Sustainability Events Calendar to solve that issue. It is quickly becoming the go-to site for anyone looking for great sustainability events to attend, as well as providing great free marketing for those organising such events by listing them on the site."
It's still early days, but in only two weeks over 30 user-submitted events have been added to the site and we've had over 500 unique site visits. This is incredibly encouraging, as the numbers should only go up from here as more and more people find out about the site and start listing their own events.
Thanks for all
the wonderful feedback we've received so far, and please remember to bookmark the site or keep it open as a pinned tab in your browser so that it becomes your default site to check whenever you're looking for great sustainability events to attend. The best way to stay tuned for updates is to
