Here's what we get asked the most.

  • Do you work with companies who aren’t in the built environment sector?

    While we tend to focus our energies within that sector, we do work with other types of companies. Our main priority (and our non-negotiable) is working with businesses who are serious about making the world better – so if you’re a purpose-driven business or a B Corp, then get in touch, we’d love to see how we can work together. 


  • Do you have experience working with a business of our size?

    We work with a huge range of business sizes, from micro-businesses to large multinationals.  We always tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each client, regardless of their size. We understand that businesses of all sizes have distinct goals, challenges, and budgets. That's why we take the time to understand your specific objectives and create a customised strategy that aligns with your vision.

  • Do you only work with local companies?

    No! We have clients from across the UK and Europe and would be very happy to support those based further afield. Our only stipulation for working with you is that you are serious about making the built environment better for people and the planet. We are happy to travel to deliver our workshops or arrange things through video call – whatever the circumstances require. 


  • Can you provide references or case studies?

    Of course! Many of our recent design and branding projects can be found here. Alternatively, we'd be more than happy to send you a copy of our creds deck or our extended portfolio. If there's a particular area you're interested in seeing evidence of, just let us know. 

  • Why don’t you publish your prices?

    Like with most service-based companies, cost is very much tailored to the individual project. For example, a workshop’s price depends on things like its length, the amount of research required up front, or the number of people from our team who need to attend, so it’s difficult to publish figures before we know more detail. There are a few services we offer – like our Brand + Marketing Audit – where we provide a fixed price, because we set the parameters of the work. 


    We ensure that our pricing is competitive, fair, and transparent. If you ask for a proposal, we'll break down the fees and work with you to explore various options depending on your budget. There is no obligation to accept a proposal, and we’d much prefer to talk you through our prices than for you to never get in touch.

  • Do you require a deposit or retainer before you begin work?

    You don't need to be on a retainer to work with us, we're more than happy to take on project-based work. When working on a specific project, we normally ask our clients to pay 50% of the full fee up front, with the final 50% paid on completion of the work. We'd be more than happy to send you a full version of our Terms & Conditions, just get in touch. 


  • How long does a typical project take?

    That very much depends on the project! For things like our Brand + Marketing Audit, we would expect the process to take between 3-4 weeks from initial payment to the workshop completion, while for something like a rebrand it could take anywhere up to 8 months. 


    While we do work with our clients to provide clear timelines, these are naturally dependent on the input of both parties, and are liable to change. For a full copy of our Terms & Conditions, please get in touch.
