The background
In December 2023, we embarked on a journey to understand the current landscape and the future potential of sustainable practices across the built environment. To this end, we commissioned primary research of 1,500 UK-based adults, conducted by our research partner Perspectus Global, and supported by our own secondary research. This research has provided us with valuable insights into public perceptions, attitudes, and the readiness for a transition towards a regenerative built environment.
This white paper consolidates our findings and goes beyond the conventional discourse on sustainability, advocating for a transformative approach where our buildings and spaces do more than just minimise harm, but instead actively participate in replenishing and restoring our planet.
